Lifeline provided a dedicated ambulance transport service on behalf of the Saoirse Foundation organisation from September 2013 to July 2015, for children who were clinically eligible for transport, on the ‘BUMBLEance’, a customised, child-friendly ambulance.
Lifeline is a strong advocate for organ donation, having been closely associated with the three national transplantation teams for many year. Please go to the Irish Kidney Association website in Useful Links to see the options by which you can notify relevant individuals and organisations of your preference for your organs to be donated in the event of your untimely death. Your organs, or those of a loved one, could save/enhance the lives of several patients.
Similarly, Lifeline encourages you to respond to the Irish Blood Transfusion Service’s ongoing Give Blood appeals, which might help to save a life. Please go to the IBTS website in Useful Links to see general information and the options by which you can donate blood to this vital service.
