Assistant Tutor Course

We are running an Assistant Tutor program for PHECC practitioners wishing to pursue a
PHECC teaching qualification. The assistant tutor award is made to those who have acquired the body of knowledge, skills and attitudes of the PHECC assistant tutor standard (both theoretical instruction and supervised teaching practice) and who satisfy
the criteria set out by the facilitator. Courses of training leading to assistant tutor award are run under the governance of a PHECC facilitator. CFR Instructor is mandatory and must be completed before attending the Assistant Tutor program.

Our next course dates are as follows (all dates below are inclusive of 1 training program):

CFR Instructor Course

Here at Lifeline Ambulance Service Education, a PHECC Recognised Institute, we offer the PHECC CFR Instructor programs at both Community and Advanced levels. The PHECC CFR Instructor program teaches you the instructional methods you will need to deliver a PHECC CFR program effectively to your learners.

The level at which a person is a provider of CFR will dictate the level at which they may apply for instructor training. For example, if your current in-date provider cert is Community Level, you may apply to be a CFR Community Level Instructor. If your provider cert is an Advanced Level, you may apply to be an Advanced Level instructor.

The prerequisite for entry for entry onto the CFR-I course is that the you are certified as a CFR provider within the last 12 months. You cannot attend this CFR-I course without a CFR Provider cert. You must provide a copy of this cert to the Institute with your booking to be accepted for a place.
