Who is this course for?
This course is designed to provide the learner with the understanding, knowledge and practical skills required to provide and coordinate first aid in the workplace in compliance with the requirements of the HSA and PHECC.

The course will utilise both theory and practical learning which will encourage student participation and feedback and ensure strong knowledge of practical skills.
Progression Opportunities
On successful completion of this award, learners will have the opportunity to progress to The
Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council Emergency First Response programme (EFR) or Emergency Medical Technician programme. Successful participants will be certified to act as a community first responder with a National Ambulance Service approved CFR Group, a voluntary organisation or with a private event medical provider.
